I’m doing my first freelancing project and need to build a fully working website. I’m trying to decide what would be the easiest and most cost-effective way to build and deploy it, preferably using free tools initially.

I’m considering a few approaches:

  1. Lovable → GitHub → Vercel — Build the site in Lovable, push/sync it with GitHub, and deploy through Vercel. Ideally, changes made in Lovable would automatically be reflected in GitHub/Vercel.

  2. Claude for the full stack — Build the frontend and backend locally on my PC using Claude, then deploy everything myself.

  3. Claude + Supabase — Build the frontend with Claude and use Supabase for the backend/database/storage.

  4. Another approach — If there’s a better free or low-cost workflow, I’m open to suggestions.

The main thing I’m unsure about is media management. The website will contain a lot of photos and videos, so I’m wondering what the best way is to store and serve them without making the website slow or running into free-tier storage/bandwidth limits.

For someone doing their first freelance project, which approach would you recommend and why? What stack/workflow would you personally use if the goal is to keep development simple, deployment reliable, and initial costs close to ₹0 while still being able to handle lots of images and videos?
