I found a visual bug on a major government website, is it worth writing a blogpost over the technical process/bugfix involved to fix it?

For clout of course but also for recruiters and other developers, would/do you read blog posts or articles online about bugs found online? My friend wrote one over a bug he found on Etsy's checkout process but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle? Wanted to get all of your thoughts and maybe inquire about anyone who has had some success or could just talk more about their experience in writing blog posts about bugs they find as a user and bugs they address as a developer on the outside.
