The CZUR ET Max is an overhead scanner with a 38-megapixel sensor and 410 dpi optical resolution.
Its companion software corrects curved book pages and supports OCR to produce editable text.
The software runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, but scanning requires a connected computer; the device has no automatic document feeder.
How it works
The device has a 38-megapixel sensor and comes with special image processing software. The program automatically corrects the curvature of the pages that occurs near the book's binding and can convert photos into editable text.
To speed up the multi-page scanning process, the package includes a foot switch and a controller. Please note that the device does not have an automatic document feeder and requires a constant connection to a computer to operate.
Usage and technical requirements
The ET Max can scan surfaces up to 18,9 by 14,2 inches. Due to the requirements of the editing software, your computer must have an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 or 7th Gen AMD Ryzen processor and at least 8GB of RAM. The software is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
