The disclosures detail massive infrastructure commitments and infrastructure scaling challenges.

According to data filed Monday covering the period through Sept. 30, the company's revenue reached $17 billion for the quarter, up from $11,5 billion in the previous quarter. But operating losses widened along with revenue as computing power costs rose.

How much do computers cost?

Computing costs accounted for 58% of the company's revenue in the new quarter, up from 48% the previous quarter. The related bill for the quarter reached $10 billion, including $5 billion in short-term commitments.

Anthropic pays SpaceX $1,25 billion per month for computing power, and also has multi-billion dollar deals with Nscale, Akamai and Volta.
